We do not currently use advertising, analytics or tracking tools on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first (see our Cookie Policy).
We process personal data only where we have a proper reason to do so: to perform a service or order you requested, to comply with legal obligations (for example customs and accounting rules), for our legitimate interests in running and securing our services, or with your consent where consent is required. Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection law of Aruba. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, for example because you are in the European Union and order from the Post Shop, the bases above correspond to GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (contract), (c) (legal obligation), (f) (legitimate interests) and (a) (consent).
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers and authorities needed to deliver our services:
Some of our providers may process data outside Aruba, including in the European Union and the United States. We rely on contractual and other appropriate safeguards where required. Links on this website to other sites and apps, including our own apps (such as ePost, P.O. Box, Change of Address and U-Wana), may have their own privacy information.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including meeting legal, tax, accounting and customs record-keeping requirements and handling claims. After that we delete or anonymise it.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access and misuse, including encrypted connections, access controls and restricting order records to authorised staff. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about you, to give you access to it, to correct it, or to delete it where the law allows. Where the GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing before withdrawal).
To make a request, email customerservice@postaruba.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where the GDPR applies, within one month. If you are in the European Union, you may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them through it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always shown on this page.
