About this service

Package Service provides economical delivery for small packets and parcels to over 200 destinations worldwide. Customers can send any item, provided it meets the size and weight requirements, is properly packaged, and is not considered dangerous or prohibited in the country of destination.

Delivery time is generally 6 to 15 business days, plus the operational time of the destination country. Delivery standards are subject to force majeure, such as strikes, bad weather conditions, or refusal by the client.

Package Service covers two types of shipments, priced and handled differently:

How it works

1. Pack your item securely and write the recipient's full name and complete address, including the country, clearly on the outside. Add a return address.
2. Bring your package to any Post Aruba office. Our staff will weigh it and confirm the rate.
3. Pay at the counter and keep your receipt and tracking number, if your shipment is tracked.
4. Your package is processed and dispatched. Delivery generally takes 6 to 15 business days, plus the operational time of the destination country.

Customs declaration

Several countries require customs information to be provided beforehand, so a Customs Declaration must be filled in prior to sending your package. You can complete this yourself using the CDS (Customs Declaration System), or our staff can help you at any of our offices.

The United States charges import duties beforehand. For shipments to the US, clients must fill in the customs information in the Zonos Prepay app and pay the import duties before we can ship the package.

Dangerous Goods & Prohibited Items

Any item which, by the nature of its packing, may expose staff to danger, or soil or damage other items or postal equipment, is prohibited.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum weight?

20 kg per package. For heavier or bulkier shipments, please contact our Business Solutions team for a tailored quote.

Can I track my package?

Parcels of 2 kg and up include tracking. Small packets under 2 kg are sent without tracking unless you add tracking for AWG 5,00. Use our Track & Trace tool once you have your tracking number.

What happens if my package cannot be delivered?

If a package cannot be delivered, the destination postal service will attempt to notify the recipient. If unclaimed, it may be returned to the sender. Always include a return address on the outside of the package.

Can I send food or perishables?

Generally no. Perishable items are not permitted as they may deteriorate in transit. Contact us if you have a specific item in mind and we can suggest alternatives.

What if my package is damaged in transit?

Contact Post Aruba customer service with your receipt and tracking reference. For high-value items, we recommend Registered Mail. See our Terms & Conditions for how claims are handled.

What time is the Post Office open?

Our office in Oranjestad is open from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM non-stop.
Our office in San Nicolas is open from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
